Operations Director

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1) Set strategic direction and oversee all aspects of factory operations to achieve organizational goals.

2) Develop and implement comprehensive business plans focused on cost-effective operations and market expansion.

3) Serve as a key member responsible for the site's Profit & Loss (P&L) performance.

4) Play a critical role in the senior management team, driving high-level operational initiatives and providing leadership to the Penang team.

5) Provide strategic and operational support to the Site General Manager and other senior executives to drive business growth, ensuring the necessary infrastructure and support functions are in place.

6) Collaborate closely with the global management team to align site operations with corporate objectives.

7) Manage all customer-related activities, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

Lead cross-functional and matrix teams to ensure seamless project and operational execution.

8) Support the development and growth of senior staff by facilitating personal development plans and leadership guidance.

Qualifications and Experience Required

1) Bachelors Degree (Masters degree or above preferred).

2) Minimum 810 years of experience in a senior managerial role within the manufacturing industry.

3) Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.

4) Proven background in program management, preferably within an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) environment.

5) Independent, detail-oriented, and strong in problem-solving.

6) Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

7) Demonstrates strong commitment, initiative, and a high sense of responsibility.
