About the job Project Planner
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain overall project schedules, milestone plans, and detailed execution schedules.
- Establish project scheduling systems using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and related tools.
- Monitor project progress, analyze schedule variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Identify critical paths and schedule risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Manage resource planning, resource leveling, and utilization analysis.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and management progress reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Collect, analyse, and report project schedule performance data.
- Support tender planning and project execution scheduling activities.
- Ensure planning and scheduling practices comply with company procedures and industry standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls.
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, SAP, and related software.
- Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, resource leveling, and project controls.
- Familiar with the full project lifecycle and project management methodologies.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and across departments.
- Familiar with international project management standards and practices.
- PMP and/or Primavera P6 certification is preferred.
- Ability to independently establish and manage project planning systems.
