We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Audit Manager to lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients while driving a high standard of service delivery. You will be responsible for overseeing the audit team, ensuring effective and efficient execution of assignments, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently manage a portfolio of audit clients while delivering high-quality services.

- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audit assignments.

- Plan and allocate jobs effectively based on team capacity and project timelines.

- Review audit files and documentation to ensure compliance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.

- Assess and review audit planning, identifying key risk areas and addressing potential issues early.

- Ensure audit work is performed in accordance with the firms methodologies, policies, and professional standards.

- Monitor job progress and provide timely support and resolution of technical or operational issues.

- Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to team members to support professional growth and career development.

- Foster strong client relationships and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

- Contribute to process improvement and innovation within the audit practice.

Requirements:

- A recognized degree in Accounting or Finance, and/or a professional qualification such as MICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or CIMA.

- Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

- Minimum 8 years of relevant audit experience, with at least 34 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

- Strong technical and analytical abilities, with sound knowledge of accounting standards and audit procedures.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.

- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.

- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a solutions-oriented mindset.

- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a strong commitment to quality and ethical standards.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop and maintain strong client and team relationships.
