Job Responsibilities:
HR Planning & Strategic Support
- Develop and implement human resource plans based on the companys strategic goals (e.g., talent pipeline development, organizational structure optimization).
- Assist management in analyzing workforce needs and provide recommendations on job roles and staffing adjustments.
Recruitment & Talent Allocation
- Oversee the company's recruitment processes, develop hiring plans, and optimize recruitment channels (e.g., headhunting, campus recruitment, social recruitment).
- Lead interviews, background checks, and hiring decisions for key positions to ensure the right talent fit.
Employee Relations Management
- Handle employee onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and resignation processes while resolving labor disputes.
- Organize regular employee feedback sessions and satisfaction surveys to foster a positive work environment.
Training & Talent Development
- Design and implement employee training programs (e.g., onboarding training, leadership development for managers).
- Establish career development pathways and drive performance evaluation and promotion systems.
Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management
- Participate in salary structure design and conduct regular market salary benchmarking to ensure competitiveness.
- Organize performance appraisals and oversee the application of results (e.g., salary adjustments, bonus distribution).
HR Policies & Process Optimization
- Develop and revise HR policies and regulations (e.g., attendance, rewards and penalties, employee handbook).
- Optimize HR workflows to enhance departmental efficiency.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws, social security policies, and local regulations.
- Handle labor disputes, employee complaints, and arbitration cases to protect the companys legal interests.
Government Liaison
- Act as the point of contact with Malaysian government authorities.
Job Requirements:
Educational Background
- Bachelors degree or above in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
Professional Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in labor laws, social security policies, and the six core HR functions (recruitment, training, compensation, performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning).
- Familiar with major recruitment platforms (e.g., JobStreet), performance management tools (e.g., OKR/KPI), and HR systems (e.g., SAP HR).
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
- Experience in HR management across different industries or in medium-to-large enterprises is preferred.
Competencies & Attributes
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to balance employee needs and company interests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in handling complex employee relations issues.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to high-intensity periods (e.g., year-end evaluations, large-scale recruitment seasons).
Language Requirements
- Proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin because need to communicate with international team.
