Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Dispatching: Assign drivers and vehicles to routes based on delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Route Optimization: Plan and adjust routes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Driver Communication: Provide instructions, updates, and support to drivers via phone, radio, or digital dispatching systems.
- Monitoring & Tracking: Use GPS and tracking software to oversee fleet movement, resolve delays, and maintain delivery schedules.
- Problem-Solving: Address unexpected issues such as traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, and last-minute delivery changes.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure drivers adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and legal transportation requirements.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of dispatch activities, driver schedules, vehicle maintenance records, and incident reports.
- Customer Service: Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, delays, and service inquiries to maintain satisfaction.
- Emergency Response: Handle accidents, breakdowns, and other transportation-related emergencies promptly.
- Malaysia's local transportation development is not limited to traditional B2B business; the cold chain also needs to be further improved.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in related field.
- Experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and dispatching software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Able to work 5.5 days.
