Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling & Dispatching: Assign drivers and vehicles to routes based on delivery schedules and customer requirements.
  • Route Optimization: Plan and adjust routes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Driver Communication: Provide instructions, updates, and support to drivers via phone, radio, or digital dispatching systems.
  • Monitoring & Tracking: Use GPS and tracking software to oversee fleet movement, resolve delays, and maintain delivery schedules.
  • Problem-Solving: Address unexpected issues such as traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, and last-minute delivery changes.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure drivers adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and legal transportation requirements.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of dispatch activities, driver schedules, vehicle maintenance records, and incident reports.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, delays, and service inquiries to maintain satisfaction.
  • Emergency Response: Handle accidents, breakdowns, and other transportation-related emergencies promptly.
  • Malaysia's local transportation development is not limited to traditional B2B business; the cold chain also needs to be further improved.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in related field.
  • Experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation coordination.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and dispatching software.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
  • Able to work 5.5 days.
