About the job General Ledger Financial Accountant

KEY FUNCTIONS:

  1. Perform month end and year end close review for both US GAAP & Local GAAP, including accruals, prepayment amortization, deposits, inter-company charge back, audit adjustment and miscellaneous journal entries
  2. Maintenance of Inter-company sub-ledger
  3. Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliation for those accounts under GLs ownership
  4. Prepare Balance Sheet Package (BSP) for review with Site Controllers and Corporate Accounting
  5. Perform bank reconciliation for both BoA and local banks
  6. Support US GAAP audit and local statutory audit
  7. Lead & manage projects / assignments and process improvements
  8. Involve in KPI and metrics tracking and measurement
  9. Prepare reports and presentation decks for management and business partners

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or any equivalent accounting processional qualification
  2. Proactive, detailed oriented and solid analytical skills
  3. A team player and able to work independently with tight deadlines and minimal supervision
  4. Have 2 years working experience in General Ledger and Accounting field
