Finance Supervisor
About the job Finance Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
Daily Financial Processing
- Review original financial documents, prepare accounting vouchers, and record ledger entries to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Regularly reconcile accounts with banks, suppliers, and customers, handling transactions and adjusting discrepancies.
Financial Statement Preparation
- Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement).
- Assist in preparing financial analysis reports to provide data support for management decisions.
Tax Management
- Responsible for tax declaration and payment in Malaysia to ensure compliance.
- Monitor tax policy changes and assist in tax planning to optimize the companys tax burden.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Assist in preparing the annual budget, monitor budget execution, analyze variances, and provide improvement recommendations.
- Review expense reimbursement documents and control cost expenditures.
Cash Flow & Fund Management
- Monitor company cash flow, prepare fund plans, and optimize fund utilization efficiency.
- Manage bank accounts and fund transfers to ensure financial security.
Compliance & Audit Support
- Cooperate with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documents and implementing audit recommendations.
- Ensure financial operations comply with accounting regulations and policies.
Job Requirements:
Educational Background
- Bachelors degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
Professional Knowledge & Skills
- Familiar with Malaysia accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial management processes.
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., Kingdee, UFIDA, SAP) and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
Work Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant financial work experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or related industries is preferred.
Competencies & Attributes
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to handle financial data independently with high accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate efficiently with business departments.
- Ability to work under pressure, especially during month-end and year-end closing periods.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin because need to communicate with international team.
- Familiar with financial analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or cross-border taxation.
- Experience in financial digital transformation (e.g., RPA, e-invoicing system implementation).
