Job Responsibilities

1. Daily Financial Operations
-Review original financial documents, prepare journal vouchers, and maintain ledgers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
-Regularly reconcile accounts with banks, suppliers, and customers; handle outstanding balances and discrepancy adjustments.

2. Financial Reporting
-Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (e.g., Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement).
-Assist in the preparation of financial analysis reports to support management decision-making.

3. Budgeting and Cost Control
-Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, monitor budget execution, analyze variances, and provide improvement suggestions.
-Review expense reimbursement documents to ensure reasonable and compliant cost control.

4. Cash and Fund Management
-Monitor company cash flow, prepare cash flow plans, and optimize fund utilization efficiency.
-Manage bank accounts and internal fund transfers to ensure the security of company funds.

5. Compliance and Audit Support
-Assist internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and implementing audit recommendations.
-Ensure all financial operations comply with accounting standards, legal regulations, and internal company policies.

Job Requirements
1. Educational Background

Bachelors degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related fields.

2. Professional Knowledge and Skills
-Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial management processes.
-Proficient in financial software such as SAP and Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).

3. Work Experience
-35 years of relevant financial work experience.
-Candidates with experience in manufacturing or trading industries are preferred.

4. Core Competencies
-Detail-oriented, strong sense of responsibility, and capable of handling data independently with high accuracy.
-Good communication skills and ability to collaborate efficiently with business departments.
-Able to work under pressure, especially during month-end/year-end closing periods.

5. Other Requirements
-Malaysian Chinese candidates are preferred; alternatively, proficiency in both English and Malay is acceptable.

Extra Qualifications
-Familiarity with financial analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
-Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or cross-border taxation.
-Experience in financial digital transformation (e.g., RPA, electronic invoicing systems).
