Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible to process customer orders and forecast.
- Responsible to communicate with customers on shipment schedule and update shipment details.
- Responsible to issue shipment invoice and packing list to customers.
- Be the key contact window for customers, coordinate and work with internal teams on customers' requirement such as delivery matters, engineering change and quality related issues.
- Negotiate with customers for any pull-in or push-out request.
- Responsible to coordinate effectively with internal key personnel to meet customers KPI on OTD, TAT as well as prompt reply to their queries and requests raised.
- Responsible to coordinate for any RMA (Return Material Authorization) parts returned from customers.
- Responsible to provide quotation to customers for any new RFQ enquiry and RMA reworking cost.
- Responsible to check and ensure availability of materials for production build, and issue Job Order to trigger for production run.
- Communicate promptly with Production Planner and Buyer to ensure fulfillment of committed shipment to customers.
- Responsible to update and ensure data accuracy in management dashboard and ERP system.
- Work closely with Purchasing for materials pull-in to support production.
- Provide materials forecast to Purchasing and monitor material movement and forecast accuracy.
- Manage inventory and ensure stock health levels adhere to Operations target.
- Manage changes together with Engineering team and coordinate material phase-in and phase-out scenarios. Highlight material supply risks and provide contingency planning.
- Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration; Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service and schedule planning, materials planning and control preferably in manufacturing related industry.
- Good knowledge of ERP/MRP system.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal and written communication in English.
- Good computer skills - Microsoft Excel.
- A strong analytical and problem-solving skill set is required.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to work on odd hours when necessary.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain management process.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
