About the job Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1) Project Planning & Coordination

- Lead the planning, tracking, and execution of project requirements across various project phases.

- Independently liaise with clients and internal engineering teams to align expectations and deliverables.

2) Documentation & Deliverables

- Monitor and ensure timely delivery of design documents and technical outputs from engineering teams.

- Oversee project documentation, including project schedules, status reports, and design change requests.

3) On-site Project Management

- Visit client or manufacturing sites to supervise setup, resolve application issues, and provide design feedback for continuous improvement.

- Generate technical reports, validation records, and customer-facing documentation as required.

4) Team & Resource Management

- Evaluate staffing needs for each project phase and coordinate appropriate resource allocation.

- Facilitate internal cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth execution and delivery.

5) BOM & Cost Management

- Track and manage product design Bills of Materials (BOM), coordinating with engineering and procurement teams to consolidate cost structures.

6) Client & Supplier Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with contract manufacturers and end customers.

- Act as the primary point of contact, providing timely updates, solutions, and technical information.

7) Reporting & Feedback

- Compile and present status updates, technical reports, and feedback documents to clients and internal stakeholders.

- Ensure all customer requests and verification activities are addressed with high accuracy and professionalism.

8) Other Duties

- Support management with ad hoc assignments and strategic initiatives as needed.

Requirement:

1) Bachelors degree or higher in Electronics and Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Automation, Test Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.

2) Minimum of 3 years of hands-on project management experience in engineering or manufacturing sectors.

3) Prior experience managing custom/non-standard products and delivering for A-tier clients is highly preferred.

4) Proficiency in English is required. Mandarin Chinese proficiency is strongly preferred due to frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking teams, suppliers, and customers.

6) Strong project planning and execution skills with a high attention to detail.

7) Excellent verbal and written communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.

8) Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.

9) Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

10) Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1) PMP or other relevant project management certification.

2) Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM), BOM management tools, and project tracking software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).

3) Experience working in electronics manufacturing or hardware development environments.
