Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Associate Director of Hotel Landscape Designers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape design and a passion for creating stunning outdoor spaces for luxury hotels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of landscape designers to create innovative and high-quality designs for hotel projects
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for the outdoor spaces
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Oversee the production of detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for construction
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Conduct site visits and provide guidance to the design team during the construction phase
- Mentor and train junior designers to develop their skills and knowledge in hotel landscape design
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design processes and techniques
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in landscape design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of landscape design principles, materials, and construction techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A creative and innovative mindset with a keen eye for detail
- A passion for luxury hotel design and a strong understanding of the hospitality industry
- Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings as required
