Career Trails is a leading commercial building surveying company based in Bristol, UK. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team.
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting with a wide range of building surveying services for our commercial clients. This will include conducting site inspections, preparing reports, and assisting with project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site inspections and surveys of commercial properties
- Assisting with the preparation of reports, including building surveys, dilapidations, and condition surveys
- Assisting with project management, including preparing schedules of works and monitoring progress
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and standards
- Keeping up to date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of building regulations and standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Eligibility to work in the UK
