The successful intern would get an exposure to the following duties:

  • Database Management: Record and organize information in our HR database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • File Organization: Maintain and organize physical and digital HR files, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Staff Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding process, including preparing onboarding materials and coordinating new hire orientations.
  • Compliance Verification: Monitor and revise staff adherence to company policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Candidate Assessment: Help assess candidates for suitability, including screening applications and conducting preliminary interviews.
  • Reference Checking: Conduct reference checks to verify candidate qualifications and employment history.
  • Administrative Support: Handle various administrative tasks such as managing records, completing paperwork, and assisting with HR-related projects.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other HR-related responsibilities as directed by the HR team.

Requirements:

  • Must be studying, Cert IV, diploma, or bachelor's in human resources or management.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, with an advanced understanding of Excel.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles.
  • Passion for the employee and candidate experience.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
