About the job Cyber Security Intern - Sydney
The successful intern would get exposure to the following duties:
- Monitoring and analyzing security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and assisting with penetration testing under supervision.
- Using security tools to monitor network traffic, detect anomalies, and prevent unauthorized access.
- Assisting in investigating security incidents, including reviewing logs and preparing incident reports.
- Updating and maintaining security documentation, including risk assessments and compliance records.
- Supporting the maintenance of firewalls, antivirus software, and other security systems.
- Assisting with the administration of access controls, including user account management.
- Day-to-day tasks include monitoring email security alerts, managing security documentation, and assisting with user training.
