About the job Civil Engineering Intern (ACT)
The successful intern would get exposure to the following duties:
- Assisting senior engineers in the design, planning, and construction of various civil engineering projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, airports, and water treatment plants
- Preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Conducting site visits to observe construction progress and ensure compliance with design plans and specifications.
- Assisting with project management tasks such as scheduling, cost estimating, and procurement.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Assisting with the analysis of test data and other technical documents
- Collaborating with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
- Participating in team meetings and presenting progress updates on assigned tasks.
