Electrical Engineering Intern - Adelaide

Job Summary

The Electrical Engineering Intern will support the engineering and production teams in estimation, scheduling, documentation, and quality assurance activities related to reinforced concrete projects. The role involves interpreting technical drawings and specifications, preparing detailed reinforcement schedules using ASA Software, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring accurate documentation and on-time delivery of projects.

Key Duties:

• Prepare estimates and detailed bar schedules (diameter, grade, shape) using ASA Software.
• Perform accurate reinforcing steel take-offs and prepare cutting lists for manufacture and delivery.
• Interpret specifications, drawings, and plans for precast and in-situ concrete structures.
• Generate bar tags, delivery tickets, and maintain job/order documentation.
• Coordinate with builders, engineers, suppliers, production teams, and site personnel.
• Plan and prioritise schedules to ensure on-time production and delivery.
• Monitor design changes, assess cost impacts, and assist with valuation of variations.
  
• Conduct QA checks and provide feedback to support product and process improvement.
