Optimus is helping a real estate company specializing in low to mid horizontal projects hire a talented Finance Manager (FP&A) to join their team and drive financial planning, forecasting, and business modeling to support strategic goals.
Position Overview: The Finance Manager (FP&A) will be a key player in managing the company's financial health and guiding decision-making processes through detailed financial analysis and strategic planning. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing financial models, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, securing financing, and providing actionable insights to support project decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Create and manage accurate financial forecasts, including revenue projections, expense forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
- Analyze historical financial data and market trends to inform future financial strategies.
Business Modeling:
- Build and refine business models to evaluate potential investment opportunities, project viability, and financial performance.
- Conduct scenario analysis to assess risks and opportunities associated with various business strategies and projects.
Budgeting and Financial Planning:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and accurate financial projections.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to identify and address any deviations from financial plans.
Financing:
- Secure funding for company projects through effective management of loans and other financing options.
- Develop relationships with lenders and financial institutions to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Oversee the preparation of financial documents and presentations required for financing activities.
Decision Support:
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for key project decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate project financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Project Financial Analysis:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of real estate projects, including cost estimates, profitability assessments, and return on investment evaluations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial aspects of projects are aligned with overall company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong preference for experience in the real estate industry, specifically in low to mid horizontal projects.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of real estate financial metrics and project analysis.
- Experience in securing and managing financing for real estate projects.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Marikina.
