Our client, a growing player in the insurance brokerage industry, is looking for a Business Development Head to drive strategic growth initiatives and expand corporate partnerships, employee benefits programs, and new business channels.
This role is ideal for a results-driven business development professional with a strong background in insurance, employee benefits, HMO, or corporate sales who thrives in building partnerships, developing new markets, and driving revenue growth.
Location: Makati

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify, acquire, and manage partnerships with corporate clients, SMEs, associations, healthcare organizations, and other key stakeholders.
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic relationship-building.
- Lead client meetings, business presentations, needs assessments, and proposal development.
- Drive employee benefits, group insurance, and related solutions within the corporate and SME segments.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and business performance reports to ensure target achievement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support seamless onboarding and servicing of newly acquired accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to support business growth.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with insurance partners and key industry stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, and support team members to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Corporate Accounts, Partnerships, or related functions.
- Strong background in Life Insurance, Insurance Brokerage, Employee Benefits, HMO, or Financial Services.
- Proven track record in generating new business, developing partnerships, and achieving sales targets.
- Experience handling corporate accounts, SME clients, and business-to-business (B2B) sales engagements.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with strong planning, reporting, and business development capabilities.
- Leadership experience is highly preferred.
- Existing networks within HR communities, corporate organizations, SMEs, or professional associations are an advantage.
