About the job HSE Officer (Ship Management)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist with the Company Safety Management System's implementation activities, such as creating fleet alerts and manuals.
- Implementing and setting up internal and external audits and inspections, such as ISM, ISPS, MLC, and ISO, for offices and fleet vessels.
- Fleet analysis and KPI monitoring for the objectives of health, safety, environment, and quality.
- Quarterly and annual review meeting secretariat. Assemble the official minutes, documents, and agenda.
- Assist in overseeing shore personnel and boats for the Charterer's Vetting Inspection (TMSA Audit & SIRE Inspection plans).
- As directed by the responsible division, support all paperwork and activities related to various HSEQ office responsibilities and projects.
Requirements:
- Preference is given to those with prior experience managing ship management responsibilities.
- A bachelor's degree is the ideal qualification.
- More than 2 years working experience, ideally in HSE function.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, BI, and AI tools; proficiency with Microsoft Access.
- Upbeat, focused on providing excellent service, driven, meticulous, and a good team player.
- Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Outstanding and quick documentation ability.
- Exhibiting patience when handling documentation.
