About the job Service Engineer (Marine)
- Standby assistance and a round-the-clock customer service emergency call.
- Assigning distributors and end users maintenance duties, site recovery, and technical assistance following the sale.
- Depending on the project's complexity, offer installation, commissioning, and on-site training to assist clients.
- Create a methodical service report for the client.
- Look into and resolve any consumer concerns about malfunctioning products.
- Looks into the underlying reasons for failures and suggests fixes.
- Examine and help determine the extent of damage and repairs for distributor warranty claims.
- Continue to work closely with our most important clients to guarantee that they are followed up with until the problem is fixed.
- Create service training materials and make sure all technical and instructional materials are current and well-structured.
- Ensures that all distributors receive the best possible service by giving dealers and distributors specialised training in service and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications:
- Electrical or mechanical engineering diploma or degree with at least five years of relevant experience
- This job necessitates a good amount of travel throughout Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific.
- A cooperative team player who is task-oriented and has excellent problem-solving abilities
- Have a strong focus on customer service and a passion for electrical and control systems, as well as power generation equipment.
- Applicants with comparable work experience will be taken into account.
- It will be beneficial to have prior electrical and control knowledge with different control systems (KDI and John Deere oecus) and synchronisation systems.
