  • Offer technical assistance to clients regarding product offerings and solutions.
  • Ensure that the suggested solution complies with the tender specifications and local government regulations.
  • Closely collaborate with distributors, integrators/contractors, and consultants to provide clients.
  • Arrange and oversee pre-sale tasks such as costing, researching material specifications, and outsourcing projects.
  • Carries out feasibility studies for projects, suggests substitutes, and deviates from inquiry documents in specifications.
  • Work on specifications for project tenders.
  • To take the lead in conversations with interested parties on changing specifications, particularly with regard to installation design factors for KUP Uninterruptible Power Supply systems.
  • Produces project cost estimates and continuously seeks for new contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure best possible value for money.
  • Developed comprehensive project proposals, quotes, and technical compliance documentation in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Meets departmental and organisational objectives by taking responsibility for reaching the organization's sales target.
  • Anticipating end-user demands by proactive promotional efforts with the target audience, constructing a project pipeline with them, and presenting and outlining the benefits of KUP products, solutions, and tools for the uses detailed in project tenders.
  • Creating a plan for the target group's entire promotional activity implementation and actively assisting with sales and marketing initiatives pertaining to the target group in order to help business development through the identification and creation of new business possibilities.
  • Closely collaborating with other suppliers to offer a comprehensive and competitive solution, capable of spotting further chances for business expansion.
  • Providing a regular report on promotional activities (visits, schedules, next steps, number of projects, volume of projects, details particular to each project) and chances to share market intelligence by exchanging information with the sales organisation.
  • Overseeing and leading the training of a specific client group by organising frequent training sessions in collaboration with segment and product managers.

Requirements:

  • Six to eight years of applicable experience with a degree in electrical or electronic engineering, or another related technical subject; or
  • An electrical or electrical engineering diploma and ten years of comparable work experience
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office
  • Product knowledge (e.g. It would be really appreciated if Power Systems had experience with voltage conditioners, medium and low voltage switchgear, low voltage components, and UPS systems.
  • Capable of deciphering mechanical, electrical, and architectural plans; possess a firm grasp of fundamental electrical and electronic control systems.
  • Preference for knowledge of site installation procedures and requirements.
  • Fluent in both writing and speaking English
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, combined with solid interpersonal skills
