Job Description:

The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment for young learners (ages 3-6). The role involves implementing age-appropriate lessons, fostering social and cognitive development, and ensuring a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive learning activities.
  • Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children.
  • Use play-based learning methods to enhance student engagement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and school leadership.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and manage behavioral expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Education (preferably Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood Development.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of teaching experience in a kindergarten or early learning environment preferred.
  • Certifications: Teaching license/certification (depending on country requirements).
  • Skills:
    • Strong classroom management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Creative and energetic approach to teaching.
    • Patience and passion for working with young children.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with international curricula (IB PYP, EYFS, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, etc.).
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools for early childhood education.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (advantageous in some regions).
