Roles & Responsibilities
- Create, and carry out planned maintenance schedules in collaboration with a group of shipyard maintenance personnel.
- Examine and confirm the daily work completed by the maintenance personnel.
- Oversee a group of maintenance personnel to repair machinery, prime movers, and cranes (overhead, crawler, gantry, etc.).
- Custodian of all maintenance records in accordance with ISO guidelines
- In charge of ensuring that the workshops, office buildings, gravel docks, slipways, and finger pier meet operating requirements for health and safety
- Collaborate closely with other departments and assist with yard operations, such as welding equipment, dock gates, and lighting.
- Make that facility development projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Create a yearly budget for tools and equipment.
- Organizing, screening, and approving the tools and equipment that subcontractors will use at the shipyard
- Oversee subcontractors' work related to facility development and upgrades.
- Keep an eye on hazardous materials, such as B3 trash produced at the shipyard, and dispose of it in compliance with local regulations.
- Combine and advise management on the purchase or sale of assets (such as scrap).
Requirements:
- Marine engineering or civil engineering bachelor's degree or diploma with a solid technical background
- At least five to seven years as a plant or shipyard facilities manager,
- ISO standards, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Projects
