  • Create a sales strategy that aligns with both the overall sales strategy and the organisational strategy.
  • Create, track, and update the business's budget to make sure all of its initiatives are carried out.
  • Verify that the prices of goods and services adhere to the applicable Principal Brand pricing specifications.
  • Perform performance analytics and track the effectiveness of the company's services and products.
  • Give the Marketing and Communications department the necessary corporate inputs to support their marketing research endeavours.
  • Promote and track sales performance (volume, classification, etc.).
  • Based on the insights and data analytics conducted by the Marketing and Communications Department, ascertain the inventory and procurement requirements.
  • Project demand for the company's service and product categories.
  • Compile reports on the performance and positioning of goods and services for the leisure and business sectors.
  • Track and promote the growth in sales of goods and services by using cross-selling and upselling.
  • To make sure that availability satisfies client demand, periodically check the inventory count.
  • Assure the maintenance of solid commercial ties with customers' important accounts.
  • Analyse rival activity and current market trends while keeping tabs on the company's sales activity's execution and performance.
  • Make sure the sales staff is knowledgeable about the company's goods and services.
  • In order to find growth prospects and guarantee higher sales, work together with the Marketing and Communications department and assist them in performing consumer and market research, conducting analysis exercises, and obtaining pertinent data on consumers and competitors.
  • To improve the teams' knowledge, work together with the Customer Service and Training departments to determine the necessary competencies and skills.
  • Communicate with the purchasing division to restock items in response to consumer requests.
  • Work together with the warehouse and logistics departments to guarantee prompt and easy item delivery and dispatch.
  • Create reports pertaining to sales, such as sales performance, sales projection, and sales risk, among others.
  • Assure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Additional tasks and obligations as delegated by the department.

Qualifications:

  • Any bachelor's degree will do, but a master's in business administration is preferred.
  • An additional benefit will be having a diploma or engineering degree in electrical, electronics, automation, or instrumentation.
  • Eight to ten years of relevant experience in a comparable position.
  • Experience with both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) interactions is advantageous.
  • It is necessary to have excellent business communication.
  • Prior experience managing a sales force.
