Machinist

This Machinist position will be responsible for set-up, and operation of CNC and general machine shop equipment such as HAAS Machines, Bridgeport, mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses to manufacture customer-specific parts for the machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate CNC equipment to manufacture customer-specific metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and tolerances to ensure quality production.
• Operate general machine shop equipment, including Bridgeport mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
• Assemble machined components, including manifolds and chutes.
• Maintain production schedules to meet on-time delivery requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances and customer expectations.
• Follow all safety protocols, ensuring proper machine operation and guarding at all times.
• Document work order progress, including quantities produced and any deviations.
• Work on various equipment to complete multiple phases of the production process.
• Cross-train in machining and part assembly within the Change Parts department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The pay is $28-$35/hr DOE. This is a DIRECT HIRE position. The schedule is Monday - Thursday 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 11am.
