Company Info:

  • They mainly install and service refrigeration equipment for new fast-food restaurants when they are put up
  • Chick Fil A and Wendy's have been keeping him very busy for a while now.
  • Location is around the Chicago land and Michiana area (east side of Chicago, west side of Indiana and southern part of Michigan essentially)
  • Person would start driving to shop each day and ride in work truck to job site, eventually ending with him taking a work truck home and driving straight to site sometimes or shop to load then job site

Job Info:

  • Looking for a 'right hand' so to speak, which will allow him to take on more business and this person can become a 2nd 'jobs site' boss, so they can do more jobs at one time.
  • This person needs to be able and enjoy 'getting their hands dirty', it's a small crew and no room for managers who just manage vs doing/helping w the work
  • The job is really....
  • Take equipment to site
  • Maintain good communication with other party managers on site
  • Do the installation (just like big legos, parts can be a bit heavy, but not complicated to assemble at all)
  • This person would need to take initiative and really learn the installation process from Benjamin so They can successfully teach and lead others to do so later on
  • Keep the crew in line (behavior, representing the company well, timelines, cleanliness, keep it between the rails the boss wants it to be run on with job site culture) get the people and trucks home safe and on time.

MUST HAVE

  • Responsible/accountable, EQ/management skills particularly related to shop culture

NICE TO HAVE

  • Elevated levels of the above skills, additional installation exp in food/bev, possibly a former small business owner that doesn't want the headache.
  • How they are in person talking to client is more important than how they look on paper, owner is judging as much on feel as he is on track record/qualifications.
