They boast of a user base of over 5000 active users at the beginning of the year, have processed nearly $200,000 in trade volume since it started last year.
About The Role
Chaka is looking to hire a Content Analyst passionate about the financial industry with experience working with a range of professional financial topics and a desire to work in a high-growth environment. In this role, you will stay up-to-date on the latest market trends and help our individual investors (B2C), as well as institutional investors and business customers (B2B), get access to insightful data, news, graphs, and other useful resources.
What do you need to do to be considered successful?
You will be responsible for collaborating with our content providers and in-house data analyst to create research for blogs, newsletters, reports, in-app content and provide insightful resources as inputs for B2B sales assets. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Do quality research using internal and external data to write on financial markets-related topics.
- Manage in-app dynamic financial content for both B2C and B2B platforms.
- Collaborate with the B2B sales team and Brand & Communications team to create insightful sales assets.
- Communicating with designers and data analysts to develop visual content and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Simplifying complex financial data and ideas and working closely with the Research and Content Manager and content partners to prepare periodic investment reports.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to come up with creative ideas for publications, newsletters, and other content material.
- Contribute to the content marketing process by identifying relevant topics, fact-checking, and analyzing sources to generate information.
- Collaborate with the growth team and data analyst to create targeted content
How Important Are you to the bottom-line
You will develop and promote content that informs the financial scene in Africa in a simple and relatable way. This position reports to the Research, Insights & Content Manager. This is a remote and in-office position.
Biggest Problem-Solving duties on The Job
You’d have the exciting challenge of building out information from financial data. You will also collaborate with multiple teams to product investment reports and sales assets
What you need to have done in your Career
- Experience working in a writing/research role in a business/financial media company is a plus.
- 2+ years’ experience in the financial industry.
- Ability to research and communicate complex ideas using storytelling.
- Portfolio of published articles.
- Experience doing research using multiple sources.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
- Ability to generate unique angles from stories.
- Passion for researching across different industries to provide the best value.
