The purpose of the Junior Sales Representative role is to support the sales team by generating leads, developing client relationships, and driving sales. This entry-level position is designed to help individuals gain experience in sales techniques and customer engagement, serving as a stepping stone to more advanced sales roles. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base and achieving sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to understand their cash management needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Sales Support: Assisting Business Development Consultants with tele-sales and appointment management.
  • Conduct outbound tele-sales to proactively reach out to potential retail business clients
  • Manage and analyse sales pipelines to accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and addressing any concerns or objections raised by prospects.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) where the business is currently in the market for a cash management solution.
  • Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) that is currently in contract with a competitor and should form part of your future dated pipeline.
  • Strive to understand your prospects business requirements to effectively provide the correct Solution and negotiate past objections across our full product offering (Kazang / Card / Cash / Capital).
  • Sell our end-to-end solution and the benefits thereof
  • Bring in new business in line with the weekly/ monthly/ quarterly and annual targets agreed.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop strategic plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage lead databases and CRM systems to track lead interactions and progress throughout the sales pipeline.
  • Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria.


Formal Education and Experience:

  • Matric essential
  • Computer literacy
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • 2 or more years' experience in customer relationship, account management, and/or business administration.


Required skills:

  • Proven experience in sales/cold calling, preferably in the financial services or cash management industry.
  • The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Own vehicle

Work Location:

  • Northern Cape

Salary:

  • R12,500.00 basic
  • R5,000 petrol card
  • R1,500 airtime allowance
