Business Analyst (Hybrid/Remote)

Location: Johannesburg & Cape Town (Hybrid/Remote)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the success of our online gaming products by bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, and translating them into functional specifications for our development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from various stakeholders (e.g., product managers, developers, designers, players)
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Develop and maintain detailed process flows, data models, and user stories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood and met.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present clear and concise reports and presentations to stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in business analysis and online gaming.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Experience in the online gaming industry (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
