Lead frontend engineer : vue.js vue 3

Project:

• Enhancing the core product suite and localization for new markets
• Revamp on legacy codebase based on new requirements from product team
• ERM - A simple enterprise solution to manage work flow, resource planning & billing
• Teacher Portal: Everything digital - from lesson plans to attendance records
• Parents App: Track progress, check reports, communicate with teachers

Responsibilities

• Lead and set FE technical direction - advise on the architecture design, scope and resources required for new product ideas & features
• Ensure best practices including code quality, stability, maintainability, readability, and performance.
• Solve UI/UX problems & create responsive user interfaces.

Team and Culture

• The engineering team is 20 - Malaysia is the newest engineering hub with other existing engineers based in SG, ID and VT
• Reporting to the Engineering Manager in KL - he has worked for VC backed start ups

Must Have

• Vue3
• In-depth System & Architectural design experience for large-scale consumer-facing web/mobile solutions
• Leadership / people management experience
• Exposure to a start up / scale up / fast-changing environment
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• A pragmatic over dogmatic is preferable when dealing the technical issues

Grade / Level

• 5-8 years Front end experience (2+ years of Vue.js)
• 2 to 3+ years of leadership / people management experience

Location

• Hybrid - 3 days a week in KL office (flexible for KL engineering team)
• Office located in Platinum Sentral - accessible via MRT
