Project:
- Spearheading the digital transformation initiative for one of KLs biggest insurance companies / insure-tech
- Customizing the existing health tech and wellness platform (web and mobile) to suit a large scale enterprise customer
- Develop a whole new B2C medical insurance product, build customized modules, functionality and integrate into the existing platform
Responsibilities
- Lead the team, timelines, sprints and code review for a specific project
- 66% - Hands on engineering and coding
- 33% - Leading a team / code review / pair programming / tech guidances
Team
- Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will lead a small team of 3-4 engineers. You will also have extra support from 2-3 engineers from a vendor whom you will need to check their work
Must Have
- Node.JS
- React (JS / Native or both)
Nice to have
- Experience with enterprise projects (MNCs, Banks, Telco, Insurance etc)
- Experience from a software house, start up or product company.
- Ideally you will be an all rounder, front end, back end etc.
Levels:
- This role would suit senior engineers who have been hands on / lead small teams, or assistant managers who prefer to be hands on still.
- You will need 5+ years engineering experience
- This role is not suitable for those who want to mostly mange people, vendors, stakeholders, lead meetings etc - (it is a hand on engineering role)
Work Arrangement / Location:
- 90% remote - meet 1 x per week as a team
- Office reachable by MRT
