Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop In-Depth Fundamental Views: Take full ownership of developing comprehensive fundamental views on Asia Pacific product markets, utilizing advanced analytics and market insights.
- Monitor Trade Flows: Continuously monitor import and export flows of refined products, analyzing their impact on product balances and trading activities.
- Produce Market Reports: Provide insightful daily, weekly, and monthly market analysis and reports, delivering clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Undertake ad hoc analysis and reporting as required to address specific market queries or emerging trends.
Data Management and Modelling:
- Refinery Fundamentals Database: Maintain and enhance the refinery fundamentals database, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Ship Tracking Database: Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the ship tracking database, providing critical data for market analysis.
- Advanced Computer Modelling: Utilize computer modelling techniques to simulate market scenarios, predict trends, and support decision-making processes.
Project Involvement and Initiative:
- Trading and Investment Projects: Work on strategic trading and investment projects, leveraging market insights and analytical skills to contribute to successful outcomes.
- Initiative and Innovation: Proactively identify opportunities for market research, develop new analytical approaches, and propose innovative solutions to improve market understanding and strategic positioning.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in market analysis, trading, or a related field within the oil and gas industry.
- Analytical Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, market research, and economic modelling, with a strong ability to interpret and communicate complex market dynamics.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in advanced computer modelling, database management, and data visualization tools.
