Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, dependable, and detail-oriented House Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of the hotel. The successful candidate will support the housekeeping department by ensuring public areas, guest-facing spaces, and assigned work areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff.

Position Type: Full-Time (4:30 PM -11:00 PM); weekend flexibility is required.

Location: This position is located in Grand Forks, North Dakota, USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain public areas, hallways, entrances, restrooms, and other assigned areas throughout the property.
  • Ensure assigned areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
  • Regularly inspect and clean restrooms to ensure they remain sanitary, well-stocked, and presentable.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces as required.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials from designated areas.
  • Restock janitorial and housekeeping supplies as needed.
  • Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged property to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Follow all housekeeping, cleaning, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Perform additional cleaning and janitorial duties as assigned, based on occupancy levels and operational needs.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or cleaning experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and varying schedules as required
