About the Position

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms while providing excellent service to our guests.

We are currently seeking optimistic and energetic individuals who will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of assigned areas. The primary purpose of the position is to maintain the highest standards and ensure guest satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous, friendly, and professional service to all Canad Inns guests.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms according to company standards.
  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Make beds and change linens and towels.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, and other room areas.
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and maintain overall room cleanliness.
  • Restock guest room supplies and amenities.
  • Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report maintenance issues.
  • Alert management and Maintenance personnel of problems and issues concerning the upkeep of the hotel.
  • Greet each guest politely and ensure positive interactions.
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Follow proper cleaning, safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Room Attendant is an asset.
  • Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to move at a quick pace while cleaning rooms efficiently.
