About the job Housekeeping Supervisor
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our hotel team. The Housekeeping Supervisor will help lead the housekeeping department, maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, and ensure rooms and common areas are consistently prepared to hotel standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support housekeeping staff during daily operations
- Assign rooms and housekeeping duties to team members
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and other hotel spaces for cleanliness and quality
- Ensure housekeeping standards and procedures are consistently followed
- Train and coach housekeeping team members
- Monitor room status and communicate with the front desk regarding room readiness
- Assist with staffing and daily department organization
- Address cleanliness concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Report maintenance issues and other concerns to the appropriate department
- Help create a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
- Assist with cleaning rooms and other housekeeping duties when needed
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and guest-service standards
- Previous hotel housekeeping or hospitality experience required
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical housekeeping duties as needed
Starting pay: $21.00/hour
