About the job Sales Manager Asset Finance
Our client, a specialist bank, is looking to recruit for an Asset Finance Sales Manager within their UK wide team.
Working within a team of regionally based managers, the role involves the management, oversight, review and business development of existing broker relationships, as well as sourcing and establishing new broker / introducer arrangements.
The Manager would be driving the growth the mid-ticket and larger transactions, including attending client visits, structuring, pricing to risk, undertaking financial analysis and the preparation of credit applications. Alongside colleagues, the role would also be working on origination of small ticket SME flow volume.
The successful candidate will have:
Essential:
- Extensive experience of delivering sales volume through established broker relationships
- Detailed knowledge of the operational end to end Asset Finance process
- Strong understanding of credit and risk within the SME & Middle ticket markets
- Ability to review and interpret company reports and balance sheets and to prepare in depth credit applications for submission to credit underwriters
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
- Diversified asset mix exposure with knowledge of related risks
- Good understanding of legal and documentation structuring
- Understanding of regulatory governance and compliance
Desirable:
- Previous experience within a credit function and or a credit qualification
- Existing broker / introducer relationships
- Experience of completing both small and medium size transactions
