General Ledger | Treasury | General Accounting | End-to-End Finance Operations

Camox Philippines Inc. is looking for a competent, detail-oriented, and control-focused Finance Supervisor to oversee end-to-end finance and accounting functions, with strong emphasis on general ledger, treasury, general accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls.
This role is ideal for someone who can supervise daily finance transactions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, documentation discipline, cash flow visibility, and timely management reporting.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger and General Accounting
- Oversee general ledger recording, review, and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper account classification, cost center tagging, journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and month-end closing entries.
- Review and validate accounting entries prepared by accounting staff.
- Maintain accurate and updated books of accounts.
- Prepare and review monthly schedules for assets, liabilities, expenses, advances, receivables, payables, accruals, and other GL accounts.
- Ensure that financial transactions are properly supported, approved, posted, and traceable.
Treasury and Cash Management
- Monitor daily cash position, bank balances, fund movements, and cash flow requirements.
- Prepare or review cash flow reports, funding requests, disbursement schedules, and bank transactions.
- Monitor collections, deposits, bank transfers, checks, online payments, and payment releases.
- Coordinate with management on cash availability, urgent disbursements, and funding priorities.
- Safeguard company funds through proper approval controls, bank documentation, and treasury monitoring.
- Ensure proper filing of bank documents, proof of payments, deposit slips, online transfer confirmations, and related records.
End-to-End Finance Operations
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, liquidations, reimbursements, and vendor/agent payments.
- Ensure that no payment is processed without complete documents, proper approvals, and finance validation.
- Review payment requests, invoices, vouchers, receipts, liquidation reports, and supporting documents.
- Monitor receivables aging, payables aging, advances, unliquidated balances, and outstanding accountabilities.
- Coordinate with operations, HR, admin, and management for finance-related concerns and reports.
Financial Reporting and Management Support
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, management reports, variance reports, and supporting schedules.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Provide timely finance updates to management regarding cash flow, receivables, payables, expenses, and financial risks.
- Identify cost control opportunities and recommend process improvements.
- Support management decision-making through accurate, timely, and well-documented financial data.
Compliance, Audit, and Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with company finance policies, approval matrix, documentation requirements, and internal controls.
- Support BIR, statutory, audit, and regulatory documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments as needed.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and ensure audit-ready finance records.
- Detect and report discrepancies, unsupported transactions, duplicate payments, irregular claims, and financial control risks.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial, payroll, client, bank, vendor, employee, and company information.
Team Supervision
- Supervise accounting assistants and finance staff assigned to AP, AR, GL, treasury, billing, bookkeeping, or documentation.
- Review outputs, assign tasks, monitor deadlines, and ensure accountability.
- Train team members on proper documentation, finance controls, filing, and reporting standards.
- Escalate performance issues, documentation gaps, or control weaknesses to the Accounting/Finance Head or Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Management, or related course.
- CPA is an advantage but not required.
- At least 3–5 years of solid experience in general accounting, GL, treasury, bookkeeping, financial reporting, or end-to-end finance operations.
- With supervisory experience or strong potential to lead a finance team.
- Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closing, AP/AR, treasury, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Strong documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Trustworthy, organized, and able to handle confidential financial information.
Preferred Advantage
- Experience in recruitment, manpower, service, or agency-based finance operations.
- Familiarity with agent/vendor payments, client billings, collections, cash advances, liquidations, and statutory documentation.
- Knowledge of BIR documentation, withholding tax, VAT, payroll-related entries, and audit requirements.
- Ability to build finance trackers, aging reports, cash flow reports, and reconciliation schedules.
- Experience improving finance processes, controls, and documentation systems.
