Job Title: Project Consultant

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Consultant to collaborate closely with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their needs through advanced business analysis and software implementation methodologies. This role demands expertise in conducting interviews, document analysis, site visits, facilitated workshops, and software lifecycle documentation. The ideal candidate will also excel in project management tasks, including invoice reconciliation, agenda creation, and task tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage effectively with a diverse range of team members, clients, and stakeholders in both industry and government sectors.
  • Respond to and document client and vendor requests to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Oversee the onboarding and setup processes for new client projects.
  • Maintain and organize deliverables, documents, and file folders in a consistent manner.
  • Lead and support meetings with project teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Participate in project meetings, training sessions, and conferences, primarily in a virtual setting, with occasional travel to client sites and conferences.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting notes, minutes, and action items.
  • Provide regular status and progress updates to the project team, client, and vendors.
  • Communicate effectively regarding the resolution of requests, issues, enhancements, and deliverable status.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • 2-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles, software or project implementation.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements for product and project delivery.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse customer base, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Strong interest in consulting or the technology industry.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Must be willing to commute to Irvine, CA, and various cities across California and the U.S., with travel requirements ranging from 10-25%.
