Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite) |Full-Time
Role Overview
We are hiring a Travel Sales Manager for an elite travel company based in Orlando, FL. This is a player-coach role for someone who leads from the front, a strong cruise sales performer who is ready to step into leadership and help elevate the people around them. You will carry your own book of business while guiding a team of Sales Advisors to hit conversion and upsell targets.
Note: This role includes rotational weekend and evening coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of cruise Sales Advisors, providing daily guidance, motivation, and performance coaching
- Own personal cruise sales targets alongside team KPIs for conversion and upselling
- Support the onboarding and training of new Sales Advisors, including open, sell, and close coaching
- Conduct regular 1-2-1s and call monitoring, delivering constructive feedback on strengths and development areas
- Brief the team daily, ensuring key messages and product updates are communicated clearly
- Monitor individual and team QA and accuracy scores, flagging issues to the Sales Manager
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure prompt response to all inbound calls and email inquiries
- Contribute customer and market insights to internal product and cross-functional discussions
Requirements
Essential
- Proven cruise sales experience with a strong personal track record of hitting and exceeding targets
- Some prior experience leading, mentoring, or supporting a sales team
- Deep knowledge of cruise products, itineraries, and the premium travel market
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
- Energetic, resilient, and able to maintain a positive team environment under pressure
- Highly organized with the ability to balance personal sales activity and team responsibilities
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends on a rotating basis
- Must be based in or able to commute to Orlando, FL, for onsite work
