Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures such as gastric lavage, spinal tap, and esthetic laser treatment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Educate patients and their families on various aspects of care, including family planning and neonatal ventilator use
- Document patient information accurately and timely, including coding and maintaining electronic health records
- Assist with patient mobility and lifting, ensuring proper body mechanics and safety protocols are followed
- Provide ostomy care and support to patients with ostomies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in an ambulatory surgery center setting to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of [location]
- Minimum of [number] years of experience in telemetry or related field
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately
