About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Venue Manager to oversee all aspects of a venues operations from bookings and events to guest experience, maintenance and commercial performance. The successful candidate will act as the key driver of the venues success, ensuring smooth daily functioning, outstanding visitor/service experience, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operation of the venue: ensure the facility is clean, safe, properly maintained and ready for events/visitors.

Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue from venue hire, events, ticketing, retail/merchandise (if applicable) and food & beverage operations.

Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and financial performance: monitor costs, revenue, margins, usage metrics and drive cost‐efficiencies.

Lead, train and supervise venue staff: ensure appropriate staffing levels, scheduling, performance management, training and team engagement.

Oversee event bookings and client relationships: liaise with clients, event organisers, vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver successful venue usage and events.

Ensure compliance with all health & safety, licensing, fire and regulatory requirements; implement emergency procedures and risk assessments.

Maintain the physical infrastructure and ensure operational readiness: coordinate maintenance, repairs, equipment, facility services and vendor contracts.

Monitor guest experience and satisfaction: collect feedback, handle complaints, ensure service standards and continuous improvement.

Work with marketing/brand teams to promote the venue, drive footfall, partnerships and community engagement.

Maintain accurate records, reporting and dashboards: bookings, revenue, attendance, maintenance logs, staffing, incident reports.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Event Management or a related field.

Minimum of 58 years experience in venue operations, event/entertainment management, hospitality or a related field; UAE/GCC experience is highly desirable.

Proven track record in managing a venue, large facility or event-driven space: financial management, staff leadership, client service & operations.

Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, profit & loss management.

Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Able to lead a team and interact with clients, vendors and senior stakeholders.

Deep understanding of event logistics, facility management, health & safety regulations, guest services and operations.

Proficiency with venue/event systems, CRM/booking tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to use data for decision-making.

Fluency in English required; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and during events as needed.
