About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow sales operations within the ready-mix concrete and construction materials sector. The role focuses on developing key accounts, driving project-based sales, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue targets while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across construction projects and key accounts.

Build a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and market intelligence.

Key Account & Client Management

Manage relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms in line with company policies.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Project Sales & Tender Management

Lead project-based sales from inquiry to contract award.

Coordinate technical and commercial inputs for tenders and proposals.

Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with supply commitments.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.

Set KPIs, track performance, and conduct regular reviews.

Provide coaching and market guidance to improve sales effectiveness.

Market Analysis & Reporting

Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics.

Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance dashboards for management.

Recommend strategies to improve market penetration and profitability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with operations, technical, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Support resolution of commercial or service-related issues affecting clients.

Align sales commitments with production capacity and operational capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

8–12 years of sales experience in ready-mix concrete or construction materials.

Proven track record in project sales and key account management.

Strong network within the construction and infrastructure sector.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
