About the job IT Support Staff
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in in computer science, information technology, or similar.
- Minimum years of experience 2-5 years experience as an IT support specialist
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
- Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
- Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
- Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
Responsibilities:
- He/she is responsible to perform regular check-ups or inspections in networking devices, AV infrastructure, and other IT/AV related peripherals.
- Provides technical assistance and troubleshooting on hardware/software issues.
- Ensure printer management configuration and other scanning devices.
- Setting up Apple devices (Laptop, IPAD, Mobile phones & Apple TV) and AV systems including other peripherals
- Doing backup & restoration of IOS platform devices if required
- Setting up projectors, and sound systems as per request.
- Setting up gaming devices for the kids for their personal use & Events.
- Installation & updating of application software as required with management approval.
- Setting up the operating system (windows XP,7,8 & 10,11 & MAC OSX)
- Assist in the actual events for technicalities and sometimes printing/laminating/labelling
- Perform any other related duties as required and asked by the reporting manager.
