Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. This role is essential in maintaining financial records, analyzing financial data, and supporting budgeting and audit processes. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of accounting principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger accounts, journal entries, and month-end closing processes
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports with accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
• Conduct budgeting and forecasting to assist management in financial planning
• Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and reports to auditors
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all financial transactions
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for cost optimization
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, with strong knowledge of UAE accounting regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control principles
• Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in audit preparation and compliance with UAE financial regulations
• Familiarity with ERP systems and automation tools
