RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer is to provide Pre-Sales product knowledge and solution. Partner with Sales / Business Development team to close deals and achieve sales goals
- Identifies business opportunities by researching, identifying prospects, and analysing sales leads.
- Prepares sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
- Supports the salesforce and lead the technical aspect of the selling process including the developing and conducting of professional product presentations and demonstrations to generate sales and meet revenue objectives.
- Increase the sale of product by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions.
- Carrying out tender responses, answering and expanding on functional / technical requirements within complex tender documents of potential clients
- Actively research and maintain a thorough understanding of our own products and competitor strengths and weaknesses
- Working with the Business Development team to ensure that all sales documentation and collateral is kept up to date
- Provide high-quality sales support and develop cost-effective, resilient, innovative, and reliable based on the most appropriate and latest technologies to win proposals and/or tenders and achieve high customer satisfaction for the services rendered
- The Sales Engineer is expected to keep himself up to date on the latest technologies and products in the market. Works closely with sales team and be the go-to internal technical resource for the team
- Proactively engage the customers primarily for all Pre-sales technical matters. Use your in-depth product knowledge and technical skills to suggest and potentially develop product solutions for prospects
- Act with urgency and precision to give users best in class pre-sales support. Propose technical and creative business solutions in support of sales objectives.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and training sessions to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful completion of projects
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business
REQUIREMENTS:
- Any Graduate/Post Graduate by education with a minimum 3+ years of experience in relevant field.
- Ability to influence individuals and teams in order to achieve set or desired goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to communicate and present.
