Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payment processing
• Oversee monthly reconciliation of bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, providing insights to support strategic decisions
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and track expenses against project budgets
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and project timelines
• Handle VAT reporting and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation and liaising with auditors
• Assist with payroll processing and expense reimbursements as needed
• Ensure the accuracy and security of financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the architecture or design industry
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and contribute to decision-making
