Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage the production team, ensuring high levels of performance and collaboration.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability within the production team.
  • Event Planning and Execution:

    • Oversee the planning, production, and execution of events, ensuring all elements meet client requirements and exceed expectations.
    • Manage and coordinate all production aspects, including lighting, sound, staging, AV, and technical setups.
    • Handle on-site event operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Project Management:

    • Develop detailed production schedules, timelines, and budgets for each event.
    • Allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal use of manpower, equipment, and budgets.
  • Client and Vendor Management:

    • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, goals, and expectations.
    • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to secure services and equipment required for events.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Logistics and Compliance:

    • Ensure all event logistics, permits, and safety regulations are adhered to.
    • Implement risk management plans to handle potential challenges and emergencies.
  • Innovation and Quality Control:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event production.
    • Continuously enhance production processes and introduce innovative solutions to elevate event quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in event production or a similar field, with a proven track record of managing large-scale and complex events.
    • Experience in leading and managing cross-functional production teams.
  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Event Management, Production, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of technical production elements, including lighting, sound, AV, staging, and rigging.
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Leadership and Communication:

    • Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Additional Requirements:

    • Proficiency in production planning tools and software.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for events.
