About the job IT Support Staff

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in in computer science, information technology, or similar.
  • Minimum years of experience 2-5 years experience as an IT support specialist
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users. 
  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics. 
  • Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.

Responsibilities:

  • He/she is responsible to perform regular check-ups or inspections in networking devices, AV infrastructure, and other IT/AV related peripherals.
  • Provides technical assistance and troubleshooting on hardware/software issues.
  • Ensure printer management configuration and other scanning devices.
  • Setting up Apple devices (Laptop, IPAD, Mobile phones & Apple TV) and AV systems including other peripherals
  • Doing backup & restoration of IOS platform devices if required
  • Setting up projectors, and sound systems as per request.
  • Setting up gaming devices for the kids for their personal use & Events.
  • Installation & updating of application software as required with management approval.
  • Setting up the operating system (windows XP,7,8 & 10,11 & MAC OSX)
  • Assist in the actual events for technicalities and sometimes printing/laminating/labelling
  • Perform any other related duties as required and asked by the reporting manager.
