About the job Hire Desk Controller
Responsibilities:
- Effective and efficient management of rental agreements utilising the current Syrinx ERP system.
- Effective and efficient handling of customer enquiries.
- Effective purchasing from third party suppliers, such as transport and fuel etc. and completion of LPOs for the same.
- Compilation of daily fleet status report and submission to Regional Office.
- Compilation of weekly hires in the Bag/Flash Revenue Report.
- Accurate and timely production of invoices and cost sheets during the month (for hires completed) and at month end (for ongoing hires).
- Compilation of monthly/quarterly Fleet Verification report.
- Management of credit available with cash hires to ensure no bad debts and credit customers status approved by finance.
- Assist finance staff with debt collection when required.
- Liaison with finance, sales and service staff for effective business practises.
- Adherence to QHSE policy and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience, preferably from a rental environment.
- Prioritizing the completion of critical tasks required by role.
- Being proactive and driving actions forward to deliver results with little direct supervision.
- Working in a structured manner and using data and facts to communicate and influence.
- Contributing to a productive work environment through a positive can do attitude and collaborative relationships with colleagues.
- Demonstrating confidence to challenge the status quo and promote better ways of doing things.
