About the job Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project objectives, scope, and specifications.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and present them to stakeholders for approval.
- Monitor project progress, track expenses, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise all project activities, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Implement and enforce safety and quality standards, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Handle any changes or issues that arise during the construction process, making necessary adjustments to maintain project success.
- Communicate project status and updates to clients, management, and project teams.
- Resolve conflicts and issues that may impact project progress, implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify work is in compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Ensure the efficient use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare and submit project reports, including financial reports, to company management.
- Participate in project risk assessment and mitigation planning.
Qualifications:
- Arab National holding Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certifications are a plus.
- Proven 10 years experience as a Project Manager in the UAE construction industry.
- Dubai Municipality Certified Engineering Professional is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Excellent knowledge of safety and quality standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
